TREVIGNANO ROMANO Assigned to Italy organization of Fireball European Championships 2012.
The week of races will be held at the Lake of Bracciano, Yacht Club Bracciano Est, 21 to 27 July 2012.
The event was launched on June 19 2011 in Sligo, Ireland, during the opening of the World Championship.
The presentation was made by President of the YCBE, Armando Cattaneo, who arrived there for the occasion, along with Francois Schluchter - International Commodore and Maja Suter - European Commodore.
The evening was opened by a screening of the attractive promotional film, produced by the italian fireball sailor, Federico Martucci - in private life he works as a cameraman and it shows! - and was followed by an aperitif with cheese and Italian wines offered by the YCBE and Fireball Italian Association.

The YCBE
was founded in 1973 and is one of the sailing club of the IVth Zone FIV (the Italian Sailing Federation) with a longer history.
In 2001 the Club has hosted and organized with the only collaboration of the Italian Fireball Association, the Europeans and Worlds Fireball Championships, with the presence of about 90 crews from around the world
